Edmonton has a ton of heavy lifting to do to get this team deep Into the playoffs, I'd worry more about goaltending than I would some wordy math scenario to get Dougie Hamilton, Forward depth Is also a major hole and the Oilers have probably lost out on RNH, Getting Dougie Hamilton Is far from a priority.

Don't forget an exhausted McDavid had 2 turnovers that turned into goals to lose games. A weak clearing attempt and a lazy weak chip that needed to get deep for a D change.

Depth would mean McDavid and Drai don't have to play more than they are capable of.
