i think with Weber he can still be effective in a lesser regular season role. second pairing, 18-minutes. problem is that they really, really, really need another mobile defenceman to add to this group, especially for the regular season. - DoubleDown
in time, can that be Romanov? They have another few prospects on d, but when will they be ready, if ever? |

Guhle?
He is the only with size and high potential in their system. - Symba007
He's a few years away unfortunately. Still has a year of junior to play, unless he makes the NHL next season, but that would be a surprise, and probably not the best thing for his development. |

KK's line needs to be better for sure. - Scabeh
we'll never see KK at his potential until his strength matches his frame size and he can muscle his way through the ice. he's not going to do it on talent and smarts alone. and right now he still gets bullied out of plays by smaller players.

i have no idea on Romanov. but even if it is, it's going to take time. Petry is by far the best defenceman on this team. but it took him until his late 20s to turn into the complete player he is today.

It's a fact KK shouldn't have made the NHL at 18.
He needs to get bigger, stronger.
Once he does, he'll be a very important player for us moving forward. |

Jordan Harris is going to be one to watch. Decided to play his final year at Northeastern, and could be a free agent on August 15th 2022 if he decides not to sign a contract with the Habs next spring.
Norlinder is a mystery. It's hard to predict if his game will translate well in the NHL. |

Heard an interview with Luke the other day. Couldn't even say when they prepared him and indicated the obvious answer, that he was cheering for the Habs. Didn't know who Cournoyer was. Thought Maurice was the pocket rocket. Not a great showing. None of it matters |

When you say healthy you mean Tatar playing on left side instead of Lekhonen? I agree with fido that Lekhonen should not be on 1st line and Anderson has been widely inconsistent, someone mentioned he slewfooted DeMelo or DeMelo slew foot him?
If Tatar was playing at his level and Anderson can keep putting up points that would be entirely different, but I still think we have a chance - robdavies91
Late reply, but Petry and Weber both playing and at 100% would be a damn good start. I'm not even considering Tatar, because he just looks like an inconsistent player over his career. Anderson has sucked in the playoffs overall tbh, not sure if he's injured or not. |

Weber looks fine to me. maybe he's playing hurt but i don't think he'd be any more effective if he was 100%. also, based on the last 2-3 years he will never again be 100% healthy. he's like Mr. Burns. he has all the injuries all the time.
Petry is an absolute killer. he's irreplaceable on this roster because they have no one else like him.

Yup, Petry being gone is brutal. I (frank)ing hope he's back tonight. Weber having his hand injured seems to prevent him from shooting effectively; if nothing else I wouldnt mind seeing him take his big shot and hit Pussioretty or Stoned in the ankles.
We'd probably still be a worse overall team than Vegas at 100%, but I don't think the gap would be so large we wouldn't have any chance to win. I'm really not at all impressed by their center depth. |
