First period was crap but we played pretty evenly in the second and good in the third. With a goalie like Vasi we’re really missing a player like Lee. Need to get traffic in front of him. |

Not sure what station you guys watch down there, but here in Canada, the question was asked to the panel, by Ron Maclean.
What would you do with Komarov?
It was unanonymous that they move him down the lineup.
The panel consisted of Kevin Bieksa, Kelly Hrudey and Jennifer Botterill.

They need to score early in the 2nd. They should have done everything they could to score first tonight. - ses111

Lol.
He's a 4th liner playing on a line that is way over his ability, that's for sure.
Hope your boys have a good bounce back game. |

Anson Carter and Patrick Sharpe both emphatically agreed in round one that the Isles should "Get Leo Komarov off that first line".
Unfortunately Barry doesn't agree. |

I think because here we are in the Semi’s so it’s worked or no?

Ultimately it is his decision, but late in the game like that, there is no reason to have a player with cement hands playing on that line. |

I thought we played a real good third period but I wonder if trotz throws Wahlstrom in next game? Really could use his shot. |

Kinda like saying: "This car has a thrown piston rod but it still got me to work...no need fix it. It got me here after all!!!" |

It was a tightly checked game that could have gone either way. Chances were far and few between. It really came down to a single power play |

Terrible call. By the letter of the law, sure it's obstruction, but good lord, we see that 25-30 times a game in the playoffs. Crazy to call that with a minute or two left in the 2nd period of a tie game in the conference finals |

Yup just like the last two series when The Isles were down 2 games to 1 they were as dead as that car in fantasy land or fandom.
Maybe Trotz throws Wally out there next game but I don’t know if Barry does it. Defense is key to winning and I don’t know if Wally is ready for PO hockey defensively.

I would say Leo's presence on the first line has had little to no impact on the Isles success during these playoffs and could likely be improved upon by one of multiple players.
I unfortunately think it's more likely Wahlstrom replaces Zajac on Pageaus line than Leo on Barzals line. That said, I'm fine with Leo remaining in the lineup, but there is no way in hell he should be playing the Tampa Bay Lightning on your top scoring line. |
