They have guys that can step in but Tampa have a grand total of NOBODY on a 3 year ELC in their lineup.
NYI have Dobson and Wahlstrom (he's not a regular)
Vegas only have Hague but he's a 7th
Habs have Suzuki, KOtkeniemi, Caufield, Romanov (not a regular)
*I know this isn't what you're saying but the idea that teams only have "competitive windows" based on players being on ELCs is clearly horsesh!t - Brooks_Light

After the interview, at the start of the season, when Cooper said they hope to see Kucherov back by the playoffs, then puts a smirk on his face, the Lightning became my 2nd least favourite team, after the Leafs, of course.đ - Reubenkincade

Less than a million US viewers of the Habs /VGK game last night - VANTEL
Works both ways
Canadian viewership wouldâve been down if it was all American too |

Brooksie is a pretty smart guy except when it comes to 2 on 1

Hmm...
Friedman - The #Sabres value this draft more than other teams. The Sabres view it as getting an edge on other teams by knowing this draft class really well. |

lol its funny you mention that cus I've been keeping tabs on how many times and which Dmen I've seen recently play 2 on 1s the way Don and I suggested they should be played. The list is long & growing. - Brooks_Light
I find Myers to be excellent in those situations |

I watched him play a lot in Mississauga in his draft year and really wanted him but you know "how come no ones picking Kole Lind?" happened.
I do think Lind will be a gamer soon. |

Yup also liked Stanley Carlo Bahl and Samuelsson. Booner calls it my big man fetish.

As you know I was joking . I think it happens so quickly that both ways are done almost equally by instinct.

Didn't you want Ratcliffe as well? It's kinda sad Timmons, Hague, Robertson all went right around where we picked Lind.
BUT Lind has always taken awhile to start making an impact with each level up so I have patience with him.
Gadjovich is looking like he'll start the transition next season as well.
Dipeitro and Rathbone were the next 2 picks from the same draft - both have bright futures as well.

Some may not like this, but if we can make deals to get Marner here and have the cap work, I would do it. Guy is great in regular season, solid defensively and a fresh start would likely get that playoff monkey off his back. |

Nuck up said something that stuck in my head yesterday. If Canucks can shuffle money around to take on Reinhart , then why not go one step further and try for Landeskog? I know it sounds absurd but if the team can afford Reinhart 6 mil and a 23 man roster why not add more and go with a smaller roster and go after a bigger fish?

Funny how those of us that wanted those guys got ridiculed, but now those that were doing the ridiculing are wishing we had players like that.
This is the type of stuff I mean when I post this

Over the past 2 seasons, I have watched at least 10 Buffalo games, and Reinhart was by far their best forward, including when Eichel was playing, Eichel was invisible except in 1 period. |
