I don't agree with what you state in Carolina. He wants to re-sign there. Carolina just doesn't want to pay him what he's asking for. I think Carolina is playing it like see what's out there and then come back to us and we'll see what we can do.

What? He's had a PPG for last 2/3 years. He has basically been short by never more than 4 points(ignoring his rookie season) playing on one of the worst teams in the NHL. The biggest reason he doesnt have a PPG career is because his rookie season was far off of a PPG

Speaking of Patrick it’s been noted how horrible he was this past year. Easily the worst forward in the NHL & he managed to score more goals than “superstar”Eichel. He didnt just play more games than Eichel, he doubled him. Patrick had 4 goals and 9 points in 52 games. Eichel has 2 Goals and 18 points in 21 games. Not really comparable at all
