I guess that also depends on if they keep Freddy. We could see Blueger as 3C and Freddy as 4C.

Mark Jankowski is still a RFA lol.

But I agree there's a good fit for Freddy there if they bring him back.

I think there's a good chance they try and snag Saad.

Saad will go to whatever team offers the most money. Period.

Truth. I think a lot of people's off-season plans hinge on getting him, but what if they don't? Hyman or Coleman? Anyone else?

I think Coleman is a more realistic target based on price.

For the most part you are absolutely right but I'd imagine the Pens would win a tie breaker given you are looking at a hometown kid coming back for a run at the cup.

I dont know exactly how the Pens would make it happen but it would be pretty cool.

So we saw periods and games like this with the Pens majorly outplaying the Isles the same way, perhaps more so, so what's the difference? Bounces on the last two goals. The Bolts are getting bounces their way. Fine line between producing or not...

Oh I agree. I don't think it has anything to do with his hometown team, I just think he's the type of player Burke/Hextall want to target. Bigger body that can score some dirty goals.

Anyone have a decent streaming site? Preferably one where you don't have to register. My go to, Volokit got nuked and since then Sportsurge has nights(like tonight) where it just says nothing available.

Could we bring Ceci and Gaudreau back for a total of $3-3.5M for both? I think we should.

With Pettersson and Zucker off the books we could think about Coleman/Hyman or someone like them.

Honestly the goalie situation went out of hand with the DeSmith injury. We just couldn’t afford to rely on only one of our goalies. We’re built to use the hottest at the moment. 1/2 A, 1/2 B.

Tampa are a bunch of scumbags. Hoping for 2 Islanders 2-1 wins.

I do think you could get both for $3.5 possibly yes.

In the short run, yes, Desmith being available would have given them an option and could have got them out if the first round. Maybe even the second.

But Desmith hasn't ever proven anything himself. He has never had the chance but we shouldn't act like he would have saved the day.

Thanks for taking the bait with your hate...

So at that point a 2 on 1, of which the Pens had, went in off Greene from an attempted pass and the 3rd goal was like The Price is Right's Plinko, bouncing all over the place. What happened last night? Isles goalies looked average to below average is what. Didnt play like demigods.

What does that have to do with anything I said?

Regarding what you said though, its irrelevant. Totally different teams and matchups. Tampa is a better team than the Pens though overall, no doubt. Doesn't necessarily mean the Bolts would win a 7 game series vs Pens though. Nothing absolute in sports, which is something you just never seem to want to admit.
