please, montreal, stop following the boston formula every time you lose. with boston its always the refs. vegas played better than you last night and your team failed to clear the zone and vegas scored. end of story..next game. |

Sérieusement, il est aussi mauvais à la télé qu'il l'était comme arbitre

I'm probably the most anti complaining about refs person on here and can't stand it, but...your comment clearly means you didn't watch the game. Montreal outplayed Vegas by a lot, 17-0 high danger scoring chances in regulation. Montreal was outplayed in game 3 and won, Vegas was outplayed last night and won. Clearly you didn't watch based on your ignorant comment and just showed up to troll so I'm happy to point out how little of a clue you have. |

I'm not excusing the punch - of course that should be a penalty.
But it didn't come out of the blue - it was reactionary.
It would be like showing a clip of Weber punching the vegas player in back of head and crosschecking him without ALSO showing Weber getting crosschecked into the boards.
To answer your question - I am serious.

The play Webber got a penalty ?

The reffing was horrible all around, not just against the Habs. I mean absolutely God awful. You know when the media starts pointing it out, and having discussions in the intermissions about it, that it's pretty bad.
Btw, Bieksa almost saying, "Câlisse" on air last night was GOLD. |

Bah c'est pas compliqué, si tout les arbitres sont aussi cave que lui, on sait pourquoi l'arbitrage est a chier dans la ligue. - Scabeh
We shouldn't talk so much about referees during the playoffs. This is the problem. I'm not telling you it's always bad faith, sometimes they don't want to be a determining factor ... but by not calling the game as they should, they become a determining factor.
Then again, Chris Lee is a different animal. He's like those WWE refs that pretend to be distracted by something else while the bad guy fetches a chair and hit his opponent in the back of the head. Except here it's not scripted (at least I don't think so?) |

I haven't complained much about the refs in the playoffs so far.
I mean, don't get me wrong, plenty of uncalled stuff out there, but it's what you'd expect from the playoffs.
As you said, Chris Lee is just something else. He's been horrible for YEARS and somehow still has a job.

Not only that, but he is still officiating with just two series going on.
And he's been there for back to back games.
"We don't want to have too many people travelling to Canada for games"
Oh (frank) you, Gary Bettman was at the Bell Centre this weekend for absolutely no purpose (unmasked to boot). |

kind of tired of hearing this. it's specifically more terrible towards Montreal. i would say that overall it has not impacted the series score, we're right where we should be at 2-2. but i don't think Vegas has nearly the grievance that Montreal does.
