Eichel 2 goals and playing hurt is still viewed as a top 5 Center by some around here... Thomas did only play 9 games, and was limited or missed time in like 4 of those. Is your issue that Thomas is above Diggs or that he’s there at all?

For sure. I just don’t think discrediting what he’s done his whole career over one injury plagued season is right. That’s why I don’t think Eichel’s value is any lower.

Imo they’re both close. And as broads said, a case can be made for either and most here would choose diggs, I just don’t think it’s over egregious and would be incredibly reactionary to say, without doubt, that diggs is better. Luckily we’ll get to see them play it out. Think both guys will be great tbh the rest of their careers

Carolina has tons of prospects. They should go for Eichel.
