One of the weirdest games I ever watched, remember them stopping the game like 4 or 5 times so the players and rink staff could skate around to try and get fid of the fog.
First of all, let's get one thing straight, nobody's posts are better than mine. 2nd of all, serious question, are you a (frank)in moron or a retard? There was nothing funny about that amateur lack of wit or humor post. The fact that nobody on here acknowledges I've won at least 2 Eksy's that the US Gov't knows about doesn't bother me the slightest when dumb poop like the post you claim is post of the year worthy makes the (frank)in half wits on this board laugh. Whether you like the 3ER or hate the 3ER, you better learn to love him because he's the best thing goin. - Hatboro_Swords

Sad.
He was before my time but I do have a Rene Robert story: I went to an Amerks game with my GF, my sister and her wife 5+ years back and the Amerks were auctioning off signed jerseys for some kind of charity - one of which was an autographed Robert Sabres jersey. We had a few too many wobbly pops and decided to bid on it to buy for my dad as a birthday present. We ended up winning the auction which resulted in an "oh poop, we actually have to pay for it now" moment.
Got it framed and my dad loves it.
Wish I could have seen that line live. RIP - Hank Balling
Robert was very fun to watch...he was perfect for that line...a blend between the other two.
Perrault was the master puck carrier and set-up man. Martin had one move, but man his slap shot off the wing at the top of the circle was unbelieveable.
Robert was both..he could carry the puck, set-up as well...but could finish in close.
I loved watching him play.
