If he’s a young jack why would a team trade him and other assets then Increase their cap 9 million dollars by taking on Jack’s huge contract.

It’s why I don’t see teams falling over each other to trade their 1-2 best prospects plus a 1st for him.

I like Dach a lot, but he's not a top line center. I think he's fairly even with Cozens, and me personally would take Zegras or Byfield over him, but that's me.

I like Dach a lot, but he's not a top line center. I think he's fairly even with Cozens, and me personally would take Zegras or Byfield over him, but that's me.

When you trade your superstar center, nothing will come close to eichel, just hope for the future.
Maybe each is a better lockerroom leader/ likes buffalo more?

Dach hopefully helps the Sabres approach the "2C" by committee approach with cozens/ mitts/ sam type players.

Great question.
I wouldn't if I were them.
But if they are going for Jack, I would absolutely insist on Dach...they can keep Strome for their 3C with Jack and Taves 1 & 2.

I'd love Boqvist, but don't think they would include him...for me Dach, Reichel and 11th would be good.
If we threw in Olo as well, get another youngish talent.

Interesting.

In their draft year Dach was always rated higher than Zegras, and the draft played out that way.
Kirby is a 2C with 82 gms played in Chicago at age 20-1/2 now. He is still very young.
IMO, if he is 't a 1C, then you would have to question Byfield and Zegras there too.
I would put him ahead of Zegras, which is no slight on him..he is very good too.

I love Byfield as well.

Can't go wrong with any three IMO.
