walked in yesterday and got Moderna, than cancelled my appointment when I got home.

I dunno, I thought maybe it had to be either both vaccines in a walk-in or have them both scheduled. I don't mind that much waiting anyways, I'm sure other dates will be available soon. worst-case scenario I get my 2nd dose in September.

Meh considering how far behind we were at the start. 80% of eligible pop has has at least 1 dose. 20% both doses in Quebec.

i wouldn't mind seeing toronto win a cup. their fans would be unbearable and i'd regret it afterward, i'm sure, but hockey is better when the habs, leafs, wings, hawks, bruins, (and flyers!) are good. probably the rangers too but (frank) them.

Oh I hated the Pats but eventually I got to the point where I said I'm not dumb and I like money. Still don't like the Pats and find Brady almost even more unlikable in Tampa...but money

no no no. the sooner the better. I got Astra for my 1st, so I had the choice between Pfizer or Moderna for the 2nd.
I think if you got Pfizer for the 1st, you better stick to it for the 2nd too.

back in dec/jan, when I got mine, the general line was: you have to get the 2nd within the 4-6 week timeframe to maximize the efficacy. I havent read any, if there is, information reagarding efficacy timeframe between shots.....downside is you wont be able to pick up 5G wavelengths just 4.85G

a few years back a friend who is an eagles fan was poop talking me hard because NE lost and I'd have won $600 but didn't know I'd only lost $100 on the bet and already made over $1k from the other stops on the Pats run. I'd have liked $600 but I also liked the Pats losing. Win win

Found out the other day that my boy's wife(nurse), who is 5 months pregnant, received both Pfizer doeses and just tested +....shes the 3rd person I know who has tested + after receiving both doses. Its astounding because through the trials before receiving emergency approval, Pfizer's vax was performing at miraculous 95% efficacy rate....Moderna elicited a 94.6%

I believe you can only move / change your appointment to the same place, if you have one scheduled for a further date.

Walk in clinics are a free for all.

Just go and then please be considerate and cancel any might have had down the line.
