... should we all write thank you cards to Vegas for starting Fleury? Pretty sure Lehner played pretty well the last game.
- nords21

you think the outcome would be different with Lehner in net?

well there's Price, and also there's the fact that the habs' D might not be as offensively gifted as Colorado's but I think they're physically tougher to play against
- Pat1993

I don’t think anyone is giving the habs enough credit for what they are doing defensively. Patches and stone are non existent through 4 2/3 games now. Marner was shut down to the point where leafs fans are ready to trade the guy. And you have price playing at the top of his game to boot.

Feels like Vegas just got lucky from top to bottom last game and bad reffing. That reviewed one with the glove covering might have been across for all we know.

I havent watched yet tonight, was busy working and forgot the time....

Nonetheless, it may have made a difference but it just seems like a really odd coaching choice.

I certainly am. They're making offensive juggernauts look like we did in previous years in terms of not being able to score.

Probably not.

Hell, Fleury made some good saves to keep this from being a blowout.

The collective defensive effort is amazing. And when they get the first goal especially, they dont leave an inch to vegas players to manoeuver in any zone. What a treat to watch.

Habs got real lucky game 3. Just have to keep playing like this in
The 3rd and game 6 and the results will come.

yeah, funny how this "hey let's get rid of Price" idea is virtually non-existent around here nowadays...

Vegas forwards have 3 goals all series, all from a single line.

Oh, also, CC has 3 on his own.
