It’s ok, nobody will get hurt all season. - 1970vintage
Vegas played a man short this season. They are in the conference finals. No excuses. |

You do realize that if that a player gets injuried that they would have to play a man short for more than just the rest of the next game. That's why team cap goes to a 23 man roster. Maybe get away with 22. 21 stretching it. You still 388K and change short from that. - manvanfan
Plus no realistic discussion about how he got out from under all the dead money.

I mean I was actually the best goalie around, no doubts. I was scouted and recruited before I was even 14 years old. We won games where we were outshot 50-15 but that was rare. Given an elite Dman, my teams were unstoppable.
My alternate goalie was Steve Shields. He had a solid career. I know what an elite goalie can do, but having a stud Dman mitigates much of that. - golfingsince

Are you saying Vegas ran with a 22 man roster, or played with 19 players each game? |

EA sports fantasy.
Phil Kessel probably brings a first round pick alone if Coyotes retain a bit I bet. Cups, experience, expiring contract.
Dvorak is the teams #1 centre. He also is probably worth a 2nd plus prospects. |

Vegas played with 19 guys a couple times this season. Either a D or F short. |

we played this game with Lefty not so long ago. Ex-junior players that came close but ultimately decided against continuing to the NHL still have an internet presence. Names show up on roster lists from years past, connections to known NHL players, etc.
Kind of fun sleuthing. |

Honest question for lordy
Would you rather Beagle 4 years at 3 million aav
Or
Perry + Staal at a combined 2.75aav for 1 year
Since we are talking about not having 975k 4th line players |

Giving long term deals (4+ years) to 4th line players seems silly to me. |

Yeah I remember that. What was the consensus on Lefty’s former glory? |

That's a bottom 6 I could get behind.
