I take it as patience & wait a year or more. Easy to say but as a GM who knows the pressure or what goes on behind the scene. Us kibitzers assume a lot about Benning or FA but we’ll never know everything. That alone is why I won’t fully get on board with JB whiners. As for FA just don’t meddle & be the Jerry Jones of hockey.

Never said or implied that. What you keep not understanding is there are cap moves to make. Trades are the least likely.

You also miss out on facts and changing circumstances like Kucherov game knock out. The home crowd and elimination do or die. The Canucks have changed circumstances from last off season. Don't be stuck on what happened before.
