All teams have gotten away with crap in the playoffs. Even the Islanders. I've wathed the series with TB, an seen the intereference and hacking being done on Kucherov - well - except for last night.
Don't get like Habs fans thinking they are all innocent. Habs have knocked out 2 opposing Cs with concussions and were draped over Auston Matthews all series.
EVERY TEAM has been taking liberties. - Nasty_Duck
The difference was the coaches crying about lack of penalty calls against Islanders as Sullivan, Cassidy and Cooper have done. You did not hear Trotz complaining about the 12-7 calls in favor of the lighting. It is playoff hockey...let them play.

Everyone says Kusherov is a flopper, but he learned from the Lightning master of flopping - Tyler Johnson. Back in their Triplets days, there was a period where TJ was our number one center due to injuries. He perfected embellishment to an art form. Kusherov played on that line and he is a student of the game. He added flopping and dramatic death scenes to his arsenal of tricks.
Hate him or not, the dude is f-ing crafty.

We most cetainly couldn't afford his loss with an injured Pageau and absent Lee. |

Product of the NHL. For whatever reason there have always been players who were given the benefit of the doubt whereas others could do no right. Barzy is one of those guys that the refs clearly dislike, largely due to his showing them up on calls. That disdain from the officials shows up with how many legitimate no-calls he endures while being fined for embellishment. Whiney he may be, but a diver he is not.
Meanwhile a guy like Kuch, who is clearly a superstar is able to flop and get marginal to imaginative calls without that same label.(from officials) Crosby obviously is another.
It's always been that way. Barzy needs to just focus on what he can control

Trotz was complaining about Bergeron's face-offs even before that. So...

Lehner comes in plays great and wins Vegas a game evening the series up. Then Deboer throws Fleury back in there |

Yup. No idea why he’d do that. Would think you ride the hot goalie who just won you a game. |

I think just like Varly, Fleury is the #1 and they rode him to this point so that’s why he’s back in there tonight. You definitely can’t fault him for either goal up to this point.
He’s actually made a couple great saves. The score could be a lot worse. |

I don’t know. Lehner was great last game. Haven’t watched much tonight just that they are down 3-0. Don’t really care just a little surprised as Fleury wasn’t good in game 3. |

Yeah, I get that but typically coaches go with the one that got them there. Tonight I don’t think it would have made a difference as Vegas has been dreadful defensively imho.
3-0 now? Wow I stopped watching after the 2nd period at 2-0. Habs are just stifling The Knights. Can’t generate anything really. |
