When he tries to play on the perimeter, play the skill game he has long stretch where he's invisible. When he goes to the net and plays a Gallagher like game he has succes. I know he's a 3rd overall and we expected a skilled center with playmaking abilities but that's not who he is, at least not when he produces.

He still needs to do that over 82 games. Also it's 9 goals and 2 assists. Also I said he's Lars Eller had 18 points in 24 games when the caps won the cup and 13 in 17 with us before he got Grybaed

I would be worried if he was 24

he still young, he will continue to get better

Nail Yakupov scored 31 in points in 48 games when he was 18 so Kotkaniemi will never be as good as Yakupov and will play in the KHL in a few years? Yes age is a factor but it's not everything. Stop it with YOUR poop arguments

Eric Staal is as old as the Montreal Canadiens franchise.

If he scores on you you have to forfeit the series.

It scares me. He's slow as hell but still knows how to hang on to the puck (most of the time) and I guess that counts for a lot more in this series than speed has.

Also, happy for that guy. He's put up with an astronomical amount of bullpoop over the years.

Monica: It’s umm, it has something to do with transponding.

Rachel: Oh-oh-oh, he’s a transponce—transpondster!

Sometimes it's about finding the right "fit" for what he can bring.

That line with Armia and Perry is playing such a heavy game along the boards, speed isn't their forte but they make it up with great puck control and using their big bodies to create opportunities.
