maybe...maybe not
if that's how it plays out, that's how it plays out...two franchises with storied histories who haven't been to the scf in decades - Michael Pachla
Colorado/Tampa would have been amazing |

Interesting take...intent to injure is now recognized as "part of the game". - IonSabres
yup...always has been in the playoffs...last time sabres were in it, connolly was arguably their best player...richards covertly planted him into the boards in game-6 and took him out...if you don't recognize this, then that's your problem, not mine or the players who play the game |

Naw we get the pleasure of watching two teams that hardly qualified for the playoffs clutch and grab their way to the finals.

And this is why the NHL is a stupid league.
All of these players are brothers, they have to stick together blah blah blah.
Yet they try and purposely end players careers in the playoffs because its part of the game.
imagine if any other sport had this.

probably...but the lanche can't make it past the second round...
and people shouldn't dismiss any of these four teams for getting to the conference finals...just because the habs and isles don't fit an ideal, doesn't mean they're not playing great hockey |

Back to the potential VGK trade.
I love Tuch, absolutely would want him on my team.
That said, if the proposed trade of 1st, Krebs, Theodore and Tuch were to be accurate; I would give serious consideration to flipping Tuch.
The notion of trying to be a playoff team next season unfortunately limits the future too much IMO.
The plan should be to build for the '22-'23 season and beyond, and that plan should also be to secure a top 3 draft position, and accumulate more earlier 1st round draft capital for a deeper draft.

There is a difference in playing hard hitting, punishing play
And
Intent to injure.

I think even with Theodore and Tuch, your gonna lose Jack, Sam and Risto in trades. Your still gonna be a bottom 3 team |
