Well, if those two TOOLS stopped talking over him (I mean, they have him on the show for insider news, yes?), maybe he'd value it more.

I can't count how many times they ask him a question, and before he's able to answer, one of those morons gives their opinion for 3 minutes, or they'll interupt him constantly.

I laughed at you Mike. After last season, I take back the laughter. Sam proved his worth without eichel and played "fine" at center. 2 things he needed to prove too me. ☝️

I'm guessing sam does end up on a playoff team...

here, i'll set the record straight for you and anyone else...


if i remember correctly, the debate was whether skunk was a driver of play or a high-end complimentary/passenger...as a right-winger playing with the likes of jack and ror for most of his career i stated he was the latter...which isn't far-fetched because both of those centers were the clear drivers of their lines...

also said his lack of upper-end speed doesn't allow him to be a driver of play as he's better suited to having the play unfold, such as trailing the play, working from around the net and/or along the boards, where he can use his top-end hockey smarts to their fullest...

i never discounted his skill as a passer or his hand/eye coordination but did take issue with his lack of determination in the scoring department...

i was of the belief that he and his skill-set would flourish while being properly slotted into a top-line/top-six role on another team with more talent surrounding him and drew a parallel to ror in st. louis...

he came on very strong the last two months and put together his best hockey as a sabre...
