You're trading an elite player. A bunch of meh and okay prospects with a mid first is not going to cut it. It's giving him away.

If that's seriously the return, tell eichel to (frank) off until October. If we don't see you then, you can retire.

I want a better return than O'Reilly, that package is just as bad.

Robertson is very good, would look very nice next to Cozens, Oettinger is a pretty good goalie and can step right in. Bourque hits his ceiling could be a 1C, if not a 2C and the 14th pick, maybe you could get Roope involved by taking Bourque out. But 2 out 3 would help us know and the future and Bourque could be ready next year.

“Carey Price now 12-5 with a .934 save percentage.

One of best runs we've seen in the NHL playoffs in last two decades. Only four goalies that have gone this deep have had better numbers in that span”

Theodore is worth more than the entire ROR package.

Rask got screwed out of the Conn Smythe when he had the same run in '19.

Genuine question, as I was just shy of my 4th birthday when this would have happened.

Is this Habs run to the cup final have any resemblance to the Sabres run in ‘99 ?

Actually, yes. Sort of. The Sabres were 2nd in the league in goals against to Dallas. The Canadiens were middle of the pack defensively this year. I would say the Sabres were better, especially since there was no point for OTL. Their points% were very similar, the Sabres were at .555 and the Canadiens were at .527.

The Sabres swept the high flying Sens, allowing only 6 goals in the series including 1 shutout, then had a hard fought series against the Bruins, before easily brushing aside the Leafs in the Conference Finals. Dom was Dom and dominated.

The Sabres didn't deserve to win the Cup, they also didn't deserve to get jobbed the way they did either, though.

The Sabres didn’t deserve to win the cup. But just like price, Hasek deserved to win the cup..
