The conflation by so many of "anything can happen" and "everything is equally likely to happen" is one of my biggest peeves. - PT21
One of my biggest peeves is the invention of something happening that doesn't happen much. Another is the lack of understanding of sports idioms in a casual sports conversation forum.
A recent example of the latter is when a poster made the statement that as well as Price is playing, the Habs have as good of a chance as anybody. A poster then replies and chastises that poster that they don't understand what chance means or the odds. |

The Wire is also awesome
Deadwood, Generation Kill and season 1 of True Detective are also great to rewatch. HBO really had a great thing going for awhile. - Tomahawk
If you like the wire, get into snowfall if you haven’t yet. |

Anything good you’ve liked lately? - ClaudeFather
Succession is seriously savage and funny (also HBO).
The Crown is pretty excellent if you don't mind melodrama and having your WAG along for the ride. |

The Habs actually outplayed the Flyers for large stretches of that series last year, but Hart was back there to save them. The Habs have since added some nice veteran pieces and this young energy scorer that the Flyers COULD HAVE HAD!!! |

They had speed and energy in that series, but they weren't as focused and structured as they seem to be now. Either credit to Ducharme... or Price in the zone is giving them so much swagger that everybody's ding dong grew an extra 3". |

Not drafting Caufield is going to set this franchise back a decade.

Looking like trading Suzuki could set Vegas back a decade. |

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Succession. The Crown looked great, had good acting and I learned a lot, but I’m luke warm on it. My wife was more into it than I was. Guess I’m just not that excited by the royal family. I find it all pretty silly. |

If you don’t count the tons of sugar and salt in it. |

There is a surprising amount of salt and sugar in the broth. That’s why it’s so good. Vietnamese cuisine Is the best. It’s that whole sweet, sour, salty, spicy, fish sauce, basil balance thing. |

Its not a HUGE amount of sugar. You are making it sound like tiramisu or something.
I usually go nuts wit the sriracha, ask for extra jalapenos, extra basil, don't use the bean sprouts, and definitely have vietnamese coffee on the side.

Rewatching the Sopranos now, the cut to black really didn’t bother me that much. Not to say it was a great ending but I didn’t think it ended badly. - ClaudeFather

Backread pho pho. The post you were responding to was a joke to a joke. Before that I agreed with what you said (which is that Habs were far from dominated in this series) - PT21
No, you didn’t agree to what I said. You responded to this post. The only one I posted about why the Habs are up in this series. But go ahead Sheldon, make me feel like I need to read some long winded drivel that you come up with on a daily basis. The Habs are winning because they are the better team. Today, yesterday, and hopefully tomorrow. |

Shock lol. I’m shocked you didn’t go back and read your post saying you wouldn’t respond to me anymore. Little Shelly, such a small little boy you are. Must suck waking up being you everyday. Your whole existence is on this site trying to be the most popular kid everyday. Lame |
