This time I watched the Canada broadcast. Fool me five times...

They did talk about the crosschecks there after the first. Even showed one or two from the other series. They're right...the officiating is inconsistent and errs on the side of letting crosschecks go. But that's how it is across the board.

Yeah it is and that’s how it’s been the entire playoffs. I’m talking about them blaming mayfields cross check as the reason Kucherov is out. I don’t really think it was it. He skated fine to the other end of the ice went in awkward on Barzal then got off.

I’m wondering if NBC created enough of a narrative to get Mayfield suspended? Everything I watched post game directly blamed that cross check which of course Cooper and the Lightning will pour gasoline on.

Most of the Lightning Players couldn't sit for plane ride home, so Coach Cooper opened the charter up for relaxation for the guys. What a progressive thinking Coach.

Czikas got hit with same cross check the game before. That cross check happens multiple times every single playoff game. I think it should be a penalty, but all teams do it the opposition and refs allow it in the playoffs for some reason. If the nhl doesn’t want it to happen, then refs need to call it - evenly. Otherwise they’ll just keep doing it. Simple as that.

Exactly. Plus I don’t think Kucherov got injured from the cross check he got injured when he went in awkwardly trying to run Barzal. He got up off the ice right after that cross check and skated fine to the other end of the ice and then tried to run Barzal went in awkwardly obviously pulled something then got off the ice…

Cooper is a bigger pu$$y then Cassidy. The guy should’ve gotten multiple bench minors for berating the officials the entire game. I could not believe it I’ve never seen a coach be a bigger mangina in my life my god. Constant screaming and whining.
