Barzal was an beast last night. Played like the difference maker he can be.Best game by far in these PO's.
- nyisles7

If he didn’t play for the Saints he would have been suspended.

It's funny, typically when players get crosschecked they generally go down from the impact of the check and the typically sensitive location of where the crosscheck landed. In this case, Kuch continued to play as he proceeded to the other end of the ice where he made an awkward attempt to hit Barzal. I'm not convinced the crosscheck was the cause of the injury.
- TogaIsles

Maybe the cross check hurt him and maybe it was the awkward missed check on Barzal or a combo of each. On the cross check itself. The ref was right there and with Kuntcherov diving and pretending near death pretty much whenever he gets checked refs will tend to not call infraction by players against you once you get that reputation. Refs go back and look at the calls and non calls and don't appreciate the dives and acts making them look bad.
He's definitely played soccer in his life.

When Debrusk crosschecked Mayfield to the back of the skull or neck in game 2 of the B's series you could visibly see Mayfield was stunned by it. Took him a good few seconds to get up and as the play continued could see he wasn't right. NO call. Could have ruined his life. But whatever. This is the last I'm posting on it. Hopefully we get the islse from last night in Tampa Friday. LGI!!!

Why do you care?

I didn't comment on this until I read a bunch of NYI fans brushing it off as nothing. But whatever.

- Nasty_Duck

You didn’t seem to concerned when Debrusk repeatedly cross checked mayfield in the head while he was lying down on the ice. Where was the outrage? Givemea(frank)ingbreak

Dude you were ok during the Boston series but maybe it’s time to move on now. Haven’t the faintest idea why you’re so (frank)ing concerned about one of the biggest cheap shotters in the league but again I don’t care

This has been a chippy series both ways just like the Boston series. That’s the playoffs. Deal with it. Hysterical

Hysterical how opposing fans run to the aid of Kucherov of all players. Like Marchand wouldn’t be slew footing him all over the ice

You've spent a lot more typing on this subject than I have.

As for DeBrusk - don't recall that BUT - if he crosschecked someone in the head 1) there should have been a penalty and 2) probably should have received supplemental discipline as well. I'm not gonna defend or excuse that behavior.

I just can't see myself hanging around the blogs of the teams that knocked the Isles out. He seemed ok early on but like most haters the closer the Isles get to the finals the more they become unhinged. Win or lose tomorrow watching fans of other teams lose their shat over the Isles success the last two years has been facking hilarious. Can they do it one more time tomorrow night?

Yeah I don’t get it either. I was on the Pens blog while we were playing them. Good group of guys. When we won I had the nerve to say they were blaming Jarry over here and one of them lost their minds

Whatever. The point is I didn’t go back and like you I don’t understand the need to keep visiting especially if you’re just bringing obvious BS. (frank) Kucherov like I said earlier I couldn’t care less if mayfield chopped him in two the guy is Marchand level dirty. As far as tomorrow hell yeah they can do it. They have to come out like they want it and bring it to them right from puck drop. One game away from the final that should be all the motivation they need.

To be fair. As long as I’m not banned I have the pens thread under control. So any additional comments over there is just piling on.
