Let's face it, they're losing after one period in an elimination game. At this stage, there's nothing to like.

Tough period. Isles were the better team in that period but the Lightning did what winning teams do; finish their chances.
Isles did a great job in the puck possession area but had a lot of difficulty getting shots through. That will make for an extremely frustrating game fast.

I feel lucky the Lightning escaped that period with a lead. Isles kept them hemmed in their own end a lot. Kucherov getting hurt is good news for the Isles. That's one less weapon to worry about and it makes the Lightning PP ordinary.

I totally disagree with Jones and company claiming Mayfield's crosscheck caused the injury. Kucherov got up fine and skated back without favoring his left side, skated hard to make a hit an twisted awkwardly.

Of course anyone with half a brain in their head would. It’s like they’re trying to coordinate with the refs or something. Kucherov skated away fine and then limped off after that awkward hit attempt on Barzal. It couldn’t be more obvious that’s where he injured himself. Total bozo commentary

Agreed, played their game and were the better team but for a minute.
They need to get the puck through to the net. Tampa D is doing a great job of blocking shots and bodies in front. Isles need to battle through that get pucks to the net and battle for the rebounds.

Would love to be positive but not seeing any sense of urgency. Think we’re done. Hope I’m wrong but TB just finding it when we can’t.
