Devil's advocate but which one of the goals in game 5 are they thinking Lehner stops that MAF didn't? - Takemedrunkimhome
oh I know, wouldn't have surprised me if they went with Fleury again either, the loss wasn't really his fault. although I do think playing at the Bell might affect him more mentally than Lehner...

still happy with your 2019 pick? Defensemen take time I guess.
+, I think NIY really needs to be considered as a contender most of the years from now on. They had a few good seasons in a row now. - deadpoulet
I don't understand how they lost Tavares and got better; their lineup also doesn't impress me, but kudos to them for pushing game 7 against Tampa. I do think they have the best coach in the league.
Also I might be late with this, but is Kucherov out? Assuming we stay as is in the final, I think we have a very very solid chance with him out.

it doesn't really matter. if they only score 1 goal... they'll lose whoever the goalie is.

should be a big game tonight with what's at stake, the knights will surely be looking to give a much stronger effort than they did last game. but the habs know this, and they know what to expect.

meh. how could Vegas give a stronger effort? wasn't game 5 important enough?
imo they just don't know how to solve the problem.

the habs lost what we considered pretty important games against the laffs, until it was a "do or die" situation. but yeah vegas does look like a team that is running out of solutions...

I think it'll be a game-time decision for game 7, unless there's more info that was leaked about his injury

Yeah, I am not sure how that team came out so flat in game 5. For sure, the Habs play was part of it, but I was expecting a lot more from them... will be interesting to see if they can muster anything tonight.

I hope Caulfield gets a shot at him.
LOL. - Mashadar
which player scored a goal years ago, on a brakeaway, and before he shot, he called where he was going to shoot (litteraly pointed where)? and still scored! remember that one?

kinda reminds me when Ovechkin talked about a certain Jaroslav Halak saying he looked nervous because he was shaking when he drank from his water bottle... oops.
