Vegas has been a contender every year though. They are trying to win while they are still good by trading away future prospects.
- MisterBrown

No I get what they are trying to do but the lack of prospects is gonna catch up to them.

As far as I’m concerned worst captain is between patches and Turgeon. That was a complete misstep by the Habs. One I fully expected to be fair.

Suzuki reminds me of Koivu with more offense
- Symba007

He has Koivu poise, but way more skill

Vegas said no, take Suzuki.
Habs said okay then, deal.

Not sure if you recall Saku back as a rookie and into his second year. He was piling up the points. That knee injury really hurt him moving forward. Was a shame really.

Is Pacioretty the worst captain in habs history ?
- The_Price_is_right

Gionta looked more like captain material though, Pacioretty never really had that "aura"...

I'm having a hard time realizing they're actually 20 minutes away from the Stanley cup final... damn.

No patches has the Phil Kessel vibe. Get me the puck and I’ll score 30-40 goals but don’t expect me to give pep talks or take a leadership role

I dunno, Saku was a fantastic playmaker and great in the circle most of his career.

Pretty much no one alive has ever seen the Leafs in a cup final, much less win one. So there's that...
