I’m kidding, I don’t know.
I would bet they’d trade Nylander before Marner if they made/make a trade.
Nylander seems to be the guy who gets benched and gets the least amount of icetime.
Ice time/game this year for forwards.
Marner #1
Hyman 2.2m #4
Nylander #5
But I don’t care who they keep or trade, hopefully they make a good one if they do. - Garnie

Happy to touch base after Marner or Willy are traded....or not...and you can rag me or I can rag you.
You're into brunettes, I get it. - underhill14
This is a given
I don’t care who gets traded but my opinion is that the softer of the 2 and the one who gets used way less would be the one to go... but who knows. |

$4,444,444.44 - Woderwick
6,000,000-6,250,000
probably gets close to 7M on the open market.
Krug is a little worse than Rielly.
so 6M.
6x6....book it
You basically just give him Kessel's cap that is gone next season. |

🤷🏻♂️
I know it’s hard to believe how soft are team really is. No wonder the other teams d has all day with the puck.
Cole Caufield is tougher then both of them. |

It seems.
The guys who get all the ice play so soft, except Matthews when he gets riled up but he could be a little meaner too.

I have a different take. I think Matthews, Marner, Tavares and Nylander play with enough of an edge. They are skill players who get paid to carry the offensive attack. I think the Leafs are missing bang and crash from their 3rd and 4th lines.

I have a theory that if the NHL called the rules they wouldn't have to be afraid of bodily harm. |

Well, you’re wrong. Matthews plays with some edge. Tavares will take a check,
Marner will throw 1 every 10 games and take the odd check...Nylander does neither for the most part. Hyman takes lots of checks but doesn’t dish many out with much force. 🤷🏻♂️ |

Is he worth it though?
The guy can’t even play a 2 on 1 properly.

I would trade him, but whatever. If he stays, the cap will be around there. |

I think crash and bang keeps everyone honest during the regular season. But in a 7 game playoff series, your 3rd and 4th lines can be effective in grinding down your opponent. I think that is exactly what Montreal was able to do to the Leafs. They have 4 DMen weighing in at more than 230 lbs. They also have multiple forwards who always took the body. By the time the Leaf/Canadiens series got to game 7 it looked like the Leafs were out of gas in that final game. Montreal looked faster. I think the difference was the Leaf top player were being hit on every shift. Not so much the other way.

I wonder if anyone has noticed that 2 of the 4 teams left are from our normal division, and theyre both leading. If it ends up an atlantic fivision SCF, what does that say about the division? |

All their guys were crashing and banging our D, why wouldn’t they...our D are pretty small. That could be a bigger problem then our soft forwards. |
