But according to the brilliant hockey minds on here getting rid of a guy that finished 4th in the league in points does. I wanna stand pat like the stanley cup champs did when they got swept by blue jackets. the only thing i think may be alright. Is trade nylander and kerfoot to blue jackets for korpisalo and jones. only because nylander would be most desirable in a trade and we probably lose kerfoot in expansion. And the aforementioned bolts are gonna win again i might add. Marner and mathews feel bad enough and will be better for it this upcoming season. Montreal had and has a lot going for it. Toronto had a lot go wrong. Not excuses but reasons. Marner needs more options than just mathews. Not hard for any team to figure out when defending. and thus the pp problems as well. We need defense to be able at minimum to get puck through.
