I disagree. Spezza was a great addition, and did well by you.

Leafs have some PRIME pieces that is love to see in the Habs (at a reasonable price...), But unless ALL the players, top to bottom, can get you there? You're still treading water. It may not happen right away, and given the last Leafs Cup win, it may feel like too much.

Price has been waiting since 2005 for all the pieces to come together. Now we see how far he can go.

Your time is coming, you have big pieces of the puzzle. You just need to fill the gaps and shave the godawful mustache off of Matthews. Or buy him a white panel van with, "Free candy!" on the side... Your choice.

I had actually bought Senator season tickets along with other family members long before I signed on as a Sens supporter.

Unless you live in Eastern Ontario/Western Quebec you don't really understand the dynamics of the market. 25 years ago every household was headed up by either a Leaf or Canadiens fan. Even when the kids in the family supported the Sens, the parents were likely Leaf/Canadiens supporters. So all my kids and their friends were Sens fans. So, although most of you know me as a Sens supporter, my family still accuse me of having latent Leaf bias and teased me unmercifully when the Canadiens took the Leafs out in the first round.

And, I still hate MLSE and the corporate interests that lie to us.
