Connor Brown is actually a pretty good guy and I would not want to do anything to diminish his standing. Remember. I am and have always been a huge Marner fan. Some of you will remember that I was also a huge Kadri fan. My primary concern is that people not overreact from their emotions.

I have no doubt that some of the smart Leaf fans now regret the trading of Kadri. I can promise you if you trade Marner it will go down in the hockey history books as an epic fail by Leaf management. I am not a huge fan of Dubas. But, believe him when he says he will not trade Marner.

I'm not saying that you should take Brown over McDavid. The only thing I take umbrage to is the bullpoop notion that the Habs would be the undisputed "best" team in the league if they won the Cup.

As I mentioned, "best" and "champion" aren't the same thing. Maybe you're referring to others here.

I also think that recognizing the extraordinary luck Montreal has had this playoff is not poopting on the team.

At the end of the day, who gives a (frank)? I don't care if there's parts of the fanbase that are "embarrassing" or irrational bumholes. Every fanbase has its wienerheads.
