well yes, he has now left the Leafs, so he is a very good coach again.
- senstroll

Maybe as a parting gift from the leafs they told him who they were going to expose and who to take from them in the expansion.

Windows 11 is looking more like a Mac OS.

like i understand it's on-brand for the taskbar at the bottom and everything, but in all reality if anybody works on a workstation and their taskbar isn't on the left or right side of their screen with all tabs expanded then they're not using windows correctly, and that includes the folks at microsoft

Santo mentioned Granlund. Reports at the deadline said Dubas was trying to trade for him. I wonder If he signs him in UFA?
- gergeswillems

He's been linked to them for a year now. Tried to sign him last offseason as well.

he is at highest the cost of Kerfoot.

Could trade Kerfoot before the expansion draft to a team that can protect him and go 4 and 4 and lose Dermott.

Granlund made 3.75 mil last season.
- gergeswillems

On a 1 year.

financial security in a flat cap means less $$$

Again, the coach can't go out on the ice and do it . The players need to show up.
- rrentz

Actually the coaches can have some impact on players' performance. You play well you get icetime, you don't you get slivers in your ass on the bench or are a healthy scratch. This is a useful motivating tool. Leafs coaching staff did not do this. Habs, motivated much better. Caufield was a healthy scratch in game one and two despite the fact that Habs are offensively challenged and he is hands down in the top two or three scorers on the Habs.

Leafs will lose one of Holl Kerfoot or Dermott in all likelihood. No Biggie.

If Leafs qualify for the playoffs next season, they will need a couple of these to win a round.

Granlund would likely cost more than the 3.5M that Kerfoot is making.

Why?

Flat cap and he was only on a 1 year last year.

More years=less dollars in a flat cap era.

Some UFA's will have trouble even getting a job in the NHL.

Why? Mainly because he is better than Kerfoot?

That's possible, knowing the Leafs have limited cap space what would address their needs next year better.

A) 5'10" Granlund B) 6' 7" Olesiak? Assuming they sign for similar money.

Booking a covid vaccine is like a video game - you click on a clinic, 1 out of 20 times there's a slot available, but by the time you click on it, it's gone.

Better than Astrosmash.

I would sign Oleksiak instead of Granlund as well.

I just went on the provincial booking site and kept clicking away.

After about an hour and a half I got one for tonight at Yonge and Finch.
