He was a decent possession player during his time in Van. Didn't get really any PP time and only 10 minutes a night in Cgy last season.

not bad mut Miller as a 3LC?
Good luck with that... |

lol we only have 5.5 mil to spend on bottom 6 TOTAL. Should get us to the conference finals lol
So is it true that Turltechuk wants out of CGY and has requested a trade to STL?
What would be coming back in that deal? - LordHumungous
It Shane O’brian what do you think.
I have no problem trading Chucky as long as the return is better. |

Pods coming in will be interesting. Miller needs to stay on the wing in the top 6 IMO. Good on draws but not cut out for centre in a long-term capacity. |

As a guy who is two years out from a big pay day, would you rather play wing on line 1 with Petey or center the third line with Boyd and Highmore? |

I would prefer him staying on the wing as well but for the Canucks organization it might be easier to use him as the 3lc instead of trying to find a 3lc.

CAm Robinson retweet.
Rachel Doerrie

Between Brayden Point & Cole Caufield, I never want to hear “he’s too small to score in the NHL” about a high-end talent, again. There are too many examples of that being categorically false in today’s game. Evolve, adapt & adjust.
William Eklund is 5’10. Top 5 talent in 2021.
The examples are of high end and the highest of high end only. That doesn't mean like Cam Robinson any mediocre midget deserves to be drafted high. |

30 NHL teams had scouts on hand at some point. Only Seattle and Calgary were not there.

Is that why you have Beag's coming off LTIR and scenarios of small moves?
With all the off season talk, and management/coaching augments, they'll just pass on big player targets? |

The Penguins are unlikely to tender center Mark Jankowski a qualifying offer next month, suggests Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The 26-year-old signed a minimum-salary contract after being non-tendered by Calgary back in the fall in a move that looked like a good one for both sides at the time. However, he was largely ineffective during the season and was a healthy scratch down the stretch and for their entire first-round series. Jankowski is only owed a qualifying offer of $750K – next season’s league minimum – but with arbitration eligibility, he could get a bit more than that in a hearing. With their cap situation, that little bit more is probably more than they can afford for a player on the fringes of the roster.
Weisbrod can bring his boy home for cheap. I would certainly sign him. Was a PK demon couple years back. |

If he isn't under contract, he isn't eligible. That doesn't mean they (Seattle) couldn't select him, but he doesn't count as one of the forwards they have to expose.
