If most major surgeries are 6-8 weeks of recovery followed by rehab, that still gives both players plenty of time to recover and be ready.

Again, I don't think "banking" on players being on LTIR because of injuries sustained the season prior is a good way to go into free agency. Beagle and Roussel will most likely be ready to start the year given what we know and what we have been told.

Pods coming in will be interesting. Miller needs to stay on the wing in the top 6 IMO. Good on draws but not cut out for centre in a long-term capacity.

Elias is the best player on the team(can argue Demko but he’s goalie) and plays center on the ice, Miller takes faceoffs but plays wing
