What would you propose? Miller fits pretty good here and put up a 70+ point season in an 82 game sched. I'd hold off for now see how it all fits with Pods next year. Unless the return for Miller was huge but not likely with JB lol

2019 1st round pick (PHI - #11 - Victor Söderström)
Trade
Philadelphia Flyers Acquire:
2019 1st round pick (ARI - #14 - Cam York)
2019 2nd round pick (ARI - #45 - Egor Afanasyev)

Different trade but 2 years ago that was the worth of trading down 3 spots.

Schenn trade somewhat ball park of what Miller is right now.

Jori Lehterä · $4,700,000
2018 conditional 1st round pick* (STL - #14 - Joel Farabee)
2017 1st round pick (WSH - #27 - Morgan Frost)

O'Reilly trade to STL
Patrik Berglund · $3,850,000
Vladimír Sobotka · $3,500,000
Tage Thompson · $925,000
2019 conditional 1st round pick* (STL - #31 - Ryan Johnson)
2021 2nd round pick (STL - #49)

O'Reilly trade to BUF
Mikhail Grigorenko · $675,000
Nikita Zadorov · $894,167
J.T. Compher · $0
2015 2nd round pick (BUF - #31 - Jérémy Roy)

Late eighties I think, rooftop parking was poorly engineered and cars parked on top started to collapse into the store beneath.

Today Miller is going back home to where he belongs. Texas.....

Really good situation for them anyways. He wants to play Center they could use him.

Pavelski only has 1 year left. They are more win now.

Go big and ask for Gurianov and Ty Dellandrea.

Ty Dellandrea and a 2nd round pick this year. Probably more reasonable.

- manvanfan

Thats not enough IMO - their 1st pick is the starting point - then add a top prospect or no thanks.

Miller = 14th overall, Thomas Harley and restock their pop machine for the upcoming year.

Don Taylor asked Henrik has it been hard to watch the last couple of years? Henrik answers immediately "Absolutely"

I pictured Benning doing one of these followed with a Doh

I would much rather prefer Dellandrea than the two centres that I have pegged around the 13oa spot in my rankings. Which are Pinelli and McTavish. Without taking bad a pricy contract, I don't think you get another 1st round pick.

It was a weird year all around for everyone. Plus the team lost its best forward for a huge chunk of the season.

I expect a bounce back next year

Petey coming back fresh.

I follow most of the younger players on social media like instagram and only person who has put training vids up so far is Demko. Dude pushing a sled around.

Petey had an on ice one day but mostly boating and sight seeing stuff.

I'm pretty sure Kole Lind would rather a golfing career than hockey.

Difference is they are contributing . Meanwhile there's Eriksson, Beagle & Roussel. Why would anyone want to add another bad deal this summer?
- VanHockeyGuy

Lol why targeting good players means a bad deal?

Yeah LE's UFA class all became huge duds. It's an anomaly that hasn't repeated.

You always overpay UFA's to grab them so I agree don't waste the cap on middling players. Go for the young big fish that won't fall off a cliff after signing. Then bargain basement the rest to fill the roster. There's always a Hamonic out there desperate to get picked up.

Depends on the moves made. With a better defensive systems coach like Shaw, we could have a much better year.

Nobody really would have guessed a 30g guy would drop THAT badly so soon. FA hopefully learned to stop beating a dead horse.

Some in here are totally against trading Miller ever but what did MTL do, they traded Patches.

They took on a bad contract in Steve Mason to get Joel Armia. Bought out Mason.

So lets start the Miller trades up again.

- manvanfan

JTM shouldn't be untouchable, if the right deal comes along pull the fuking trigger.
