That’s for the NHL. The AHL’s minimum salary in their CBA for players on AHL contracts for this coming season is $51,000. You sign the guy to an AHL contract. Not a NHL one.

What Jeff Marek was saying today is that it isn’t likely that Jim Benning was pushing for the twins to join the management team. If Jim/John have their eye on a free agent and FA asks “what do you think?” To Hank, and he doesn’t agree it the right move, what happens next?

It’s all speculation now. I’m not whining about the twins, or even Benning here. Just relaying what the media has been talking about.

I am always a fan of the team , not always a fan of the players.

I am ok with them here , They have really strong training habits and they can show players what it takes to be top athletes. I don't want them running the PP or playing on the third line
