Only thing with trading Gibson (yes a monster haul, I agree) is how confident are the Ducks in Dostal as your future goalie? If the answere is "confident" then you make the Gibson trade.

Zegras, Drysdale, 3rd overall this year, top 5 next (atleast top 10) and a Gibson return. The Ducks have solid options for the future if they want. I'd love to see ANA and LA flush with young talent. Obviously LA has a solid future of high end young specs. Even though I live out east I always loved those games when both were competitive.

You have a Dcore thats mostly in their prime as well as Gibson who is 27. Go out and get Eichel and build around him.

The only thing I’ll say to this is if you can trade Gibson..To a team right on the cusp.. then you’re gonna have a nice little return.

Florida has Spencer Knight and they are stuck with Bobrovsky and his horrible contract so i doubt they are looking for a goalie.
