I must say, I got a bit teary eyed when I saw Price go to the end of the ice to wave to his family.

He deserves a Stanley Cup as compensation for all the poop he went through with this franchise.

That's probably because of how badly they need Karlsson to cover for them defensively.

I’m 46 years old Canadian man who is a die hard Bruins fan. I hated everything about the Habs all my life as most Boston/Montreal fan would hate one another. I don’t know if I am getting soft in my old age or it’s my want and need for the cup to come back to Canada. My mind says don’t cheer for the Habs but my heart is. Go Habs Go bring the cup back to Canada where it belongs.

Caufield's goal was epic and Toronto fans will choke on his talent bc they cannot believe the Habs have a generational goal scorer on their hands,....but OMG Lehky scored a beauty..I will never criticize him again as the black hole for goals...he is now a legend...OT series winning goal scorer...immortalized....go Lehky go!
- Hockey Pucker

There’s a reason why Gallagher and Lehkonen are best buddies, same work ethics, same level of effort and they are always there when called upon, it might not always be on the scoresheet but there’s much more to the game than just goals. Tonight, Lehkonen was compensated for all the hard work he put in and he got on the scoresheet when it mattered the most...and just writing this I got goosebumps lol

Thanks for this, it’s nice to see people who root for other franchises get on the Habs bandwagon, I think a lot of this comes from the fact that the Canadiens now have veterans for whom time is running out, Shea Weber is to the Habs what Ray Bourque was to the Avs but there’s also perhaps one of the best goalies in history that’s still chasing his first Cup and is now finally surrounded by the means to do so. Add to that Staal and Perry who are on their last leg and even though they’ve already got a cup, would be nice to see them skate off in the sunset with the Cup above their head.

I mean, we cheer for them when they beat the Leafs in a heartbreaker. Leafs fans tears are always the best...

Alot is being made out of this but apart from the brainfart from Fleury at the end of one game both goalies played well enough for them to win every game.

@colecaufield is real good today and would of been real good 20-30 years ago. The special players could of played in any era-they are smarter and more passionate than most, but more importantly they don’t waste time listening to the meaningless noise. #tooSmall!
