I shouldn't be pissed off about the Canucks being a soft team, it's been that way for decades. Dana Murzyn getting b*tch slapped by Gretzky

I guess it becomes a chore after awhile, I've been landscaping our upper property and establishing gardens and fruit trees as we go. Haven't tried peaches yet, but the next area we landscape I would like to try nectarines. - Makita
We have a nectarine tree - it produces incredible fruit! Not much of it, and disease pressure is constant, but go for it! |

Our orchard was only 3 1/2 acres, just big enough to cramp my style as a teenager. Nothing better than when you’re heading to the Osoyoos pool hall and your dad asks if you changed the sprinklers. My dad had a job so the orchard was mine to look after. Good times. - K-man25
Maybe if you hadn’t wasted so much time during the day jerking it to your Theo Fleury poster and listening to the pre recorded message on the Scott Baio hotline and got your work done you would have been able to hang out with your bros at the pool hall. |

Connor Garland is being reported as available. I wonder what the cost there would be. |

Would be a nice fit here, but I know the size queens here will be against it. He reminds me a bit of Gallagher. |

I had him in the pool last year . He was a very productive player.

I’m a little older than that and was a Blackhawks fan before the Flames went to Calgary. It would have been a Stan Mikita poster. |

I'm on the Northshore of Buntzen Lake. You lied about where you are with your no show tough talk. But if you're not too scared to take your free shot, that you proclaimed, then meet me in the parking lot. I'll order some beers on ice for your nuts. Choking the chicken with that NFU guy could have nasty effects. - NuckUp

Depends who you ask? Some would say JV, Jake Virtanen or Jimmy Vessey, your pick. |

Do you wanna give assets we are not deep on & also allocate more to cap to forwards?
If anything it’s one or the other not both unless cap goes out in some form. The 9oa if traded has to be a shrewd win trade or keep it. The other strategy is to put off spending much on D hoping Shaw & the D 1yr older together can make significant improvement. |

I was an original 6 Wings fan mainly cuz of Howe & later idolized Orr. I was always foremost a Canuck fan beginning in the WHL era. |

I think acquiring Garland or any other top 6 winger would mean Miller at 3C in 3 scoring line setup, and there's been smoke that Benning/Green are willing to play Miller at 3C
If they do play Miller at 3C, they need another legit top 6 winger since only Boeser and Hog fit that mold, Pearson being a nice 3rd wheel option. Pod may come in and have a similar impact as Hog, but it's best to start him off in a 3rd wheel role in a less pressured role for a rookie |

In all honesty he has mellowed a bit as of late. Not sure if the dog days of the offseason or toned down on purpose or resting up to be his usual 😂😂 |

It comes down to go for 3 lines deep & balanced scoring & piece together a 4th line on the cheap somehow. That would be a huge success if done.
I could run with the kids on D taking that risk as long as the PK & PP are fixed. That alone could be step 1 to getting into the PO’s. Next season more cap for RHD. |

Green will also need to adjust his system and run a less conservative style of play if the plan is to run 3 scoring lines. The collapse to the net and counterattack system will not make the best use of a 3 scoring line roster |

On the idea of 3C’s deep…
Petey
Bo
Miller
Cap savings needed to be found.
4th line TOI reduced to say 10-15mins.
Legit productivity from top 9 or at the least a commitment to stick it out assuming less money spent on D.
Special teams are a huge focus.
Team D is a must.
Speed & tenacity on puck hounding needs to be a priority to go along with better possession.
So much is predicated on how JB & company reshape the cap &/or moves doing such. |

Our core is young and we have a decade to build up prospects. Now is the time to use some to bolster our current core for the next 5 years IMO. I all depend on cost.
9oa, LE, Schmidt add something for Garland and OEL if OEL has to be part of the deal? If not what do we add to 9 and LE for just Garland? |
