It is. The pharmacy system is random but way easier. I did both and will do whichever comes first but yeah it's a mess. I for one am shocked

I look at every pharmacy in my area, they either don't take more appointments or you have to join their wait list. I am doing both but compared to what I see on the Qc side, our system is horrible and so disorganized.

The way the pharmacy thing worked for me was you sign up and give your postal code and they text you with availability. For my first shot I turned a few down because my appointment was a few days later. I'm still unable to get my second for another week or two anyway but it's a mess. I have an appointment for my second in late September but hope to be able to get it done much earlier

I tried to move up my Sept 13 2nd appointment, I had to cancel that appointment first in order to book an earlier appointment. Once I did that, their system told me I was not eligible to book an earlier date so I don't have a 2nd appointment anymore, so (frank)ing stupid. I had my first dose on May 25 so I can book my 2nd dose as of today

Yeah...that's...dumb. My advice...go to one or two Shoppers near the end of the day and talk to the pharmacists. I have friends who've been able to get hooked up that way for their 2nd shot because people don't show up for all of them

At least in Quebec you keep your original appointment until you can book a new one.

im actually really impressed with how Quebec has handled it. everything has been a breeze. took me about 12 seconds to rebook 7 weeks earlier than originally scheduled.

As someone working with the MSSS on a daily basis, I can say without a shadow of doubt that Dube is the best health minister we've had since I started working in that field 11 years ago.
