Well maybe selfish isn't the right word.
But Subban is well known for "doing his own thing" instead of following the system put in place by the coaches.
Now talented players will do things not scripted, because they are talented enough to try them out. So when it works, everyone is happy.
When it fails though (and it tends to fail more and more in his case as time goes on), since no one knows what the hell you're doing, the system doesn't work and everything falls apart.
So it might not be selfish, but it sure as hell isn't thinking about what you're trying to accomplish as a team. - Scabeh
I'm still glad I got to enjoy his "peak years" in MTL, he was one of my favorite habs for quite some time. very entertaining player when he's on his game, but yeah he definitely has some sort of focus issue... |

Can't call It the Stanley Cup final this year, How about the Asterisk Cup? Or the Covid 19 It's something to do tournament. How did a team like Montreal even make It In the tourney? Losing record, Terrible made up division, Pedestrian team. If It wasn't for the leagues poor realignment Montreal wouldn't even qualify. EMBARRASING!!!! |

He will if he wants to stick with Montreal.
And if that run isn't enough to convince him to stay, nothing will.
I think he'll be willing to accept a little less to stay, he's a perfect fit here, he must feel it too. - Scabeh
you think the habs will offer him 4M tops?

ok, I thought you were saying he needs to sign below 5M if he wants to stay... I think 5 sounds reasonable both for the team and the player.

perhaps it's best this way. you would just end up being disappointed about your experience, unless you literally have ZERO expectations... (or unless for some reason the 'Murican version of Tim Hortons is an upgraded/pimped up version from the canadian one, which would be frustrating AF loll)

Maybe.
But so many UFAs make the mistake of thinking things will go just as smoothly elsewhere.
Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't. - Scabeh
Domi had a great year here and that's it.
Radulov was good in Dallas as well, I guess.
Pretty sure Danault is staying now. He played with Gallagher all year long and they should have the money to pay him. |

7-11 is terrible. so stupid, too. they bought out white hen pantry which had the best coffee and then continued to use their own poop.
