So with the Rangers and Wild in preliminary talks with the Sabres, obviously I would think that includes some of his medical stuff. Wonder if things get leaked.

Yeah the one was 4.7 billion and the other company in West Virginia he sold a share of it for 1.7 billion. I believe that's the money he used to buy the Bill's. But your right he's got some money.

I think they took a beating in their hospitality holdings over the past year due to COVID, but overall they're fine.

I don't know how much better Sabres know him than other NHL teams. He spent time with the BlackHawks and has been a hockey lifer. A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week. Time is the only thing standing in the way of losing him.

Those are his assets, including the Bills and Sabres. Not saying he's hurting, at all, but he doesn't have $5.4B in cash laying around.

I don't have doubts that they'll "address" the goaltending. It remains to be seen what type of team will be out in front of said goalie(s).

If we're going young, I expect many mistakes. But maybe youthful exuberance makes up for a few of those?

I’d prefer they just assume Richardson will be staying with Montreal like Brind Amour stayed with the Canes and the Chief stayed with the Blues. Let Donnie get his coaches and hopefully that includes Girardi. Start operating like time is of the essence before it is.
