Another thought, if Skinner would waive to go to Seattle, do you give up First overall+Skinner+4th Round pick for Second overall? Another pipe dream trade but if it was available I don’t think the Sabres could say no

Wow that was dumb of Edm. Just gave up a protection spot when they coulda had a handshake agreement in place. 8 years, 41M. Pretty decent deal for the Oilers though.

Really? That is a dream scenario for me. Eklund, Drysdale and Zegras would most likely be our three top players with a handful of other guys vying for that title. Would make our D elite with power and Dahlin, give us a top line winger and three centers of zygras, cozens and mitts.

Would prob be bad for one year and be ready to roll in 2023 for 10 plus years.
