Lol it’s not laziness. No one is lazy in game 1 of the final. On the third goal, yeah brutal but you can do that 100 times and 99 times it’s swatted to the side boards.

I think it's fair to say they came out and didn't look very sharp. Missed defensive assignments everywhere and sloppy passing. I am optimistic though about them adapting for game 2 because they've done very well to adapt after bad games in the playoffs.

The last time the Habs were in the Stanley Cup final, they lost the opening game 4-1. I don't remember what happened after that.

This is nuts. I’ve never seen anything like this Tampa team. Outside of the last 5 minutes of the second they have not let Montreal breathe. And the most amazing thing is that they give up absolutely nothing on the counter despite their aggression.

they don't have any weaknesses. unlike TOR, WPG or even VEG.
they're better than us at every positions.

I think Price is still the better goalie personally.

I think Montreal came out flat and had a bad game. Alot of Tampa's goals were pretty flukey (as was Chiarot's). If they can be more solid defensively and start using their speed to punch back, I don't think Tampa would look so dominant.

I think Dmen are a bit of wash. Maybe not so much with all of the habs hands busted though.

problem is, TB' dcore is alot better than TOR or WPG. and their forwards are just as fast as ours.

They’ve got to figure out a way to counter because they’re going to be defending a lot. That’s the one thing I’m surprised by tonight… that Montreal has generated nothing in transition. They figure that out quickly or this will be quick.

Hedman is the best dman of the league. remove him from the equation and I'd agree. but he is there, 25+ min per game.
