Tampa deserved the win for sure, sand if we know one thing about WWE...I mean NHL DOPS, it's slamming a helmetless head after the fact is, indeed, a, "Hockey Play" only punishable by a $5k fine. - Darksyde
Ahhh yes. Because Gally didn't initiate the entire scrum snow showering Vasi and cross checking Sergachev at the whistle. This was not anything like the Tom Wilson situation. |

You said nothing of any substance. That they are just as talented, but bigger ( I can only assume you mean upfront, but have no idea who you're talking about otherwise, I guess Nelson maybe?) and have a more offensively skilled and mobile d core. I assume you mean Leddy and Pulock, but like I said I'd take our top 4 d over them. - apex123
Their rosters and stats are in many places across the internet, we shouldn't need to dig it all up for you. Take off the blinders and realize Weber is not the player he was 3-5 years ago. KK, Caulfield, and Suzuki are still young guys cutting their teeth. The Habs have a good team, but to say they are clearly more talented than the Isle's is plain homerism. The 2 teams play a similar style, but clearly the Isle's are more built for it throughout their entire lineup. |

My assumption with Weber is that he's good for 15 goals 20 assists like he did in 2019-2020 with a big point shot. The habs as a whole had pretty poop regular season and his numbers still weren't bad at all as a dman. I'm not asking you to dig anything up besides for example stating you think Barzal-Nelson-Pageau is better center depth than Suzuki-Danault-Kotaniemi or you think your 4th line is better. I can probably get behind the latter point. Staal blowing most of his empty net scoring chances pisses me the (frank) off.

Barzal is better than Suzuki, Nelson is better than kk, Pageau and Danault pretty much even.

alright you want me to detail it.
yes I meant upfront. Lee, Barzal, Nelson, Eberle, Pageau, Bailey, Palmieri, Beauvillier.... thats's 8 forwards who are not 20 y/o kids like Caufield, KK and Suzuki. all very capable of scoring, and like I said quite big when you count the others. do they have a Lekhonen on the top6? they also have a good 4th line who is not 100 y/o.
on the blue line, they have Leddy, Mayfield and Pullock who can join in.
imo, NYI are tougher to play againts than the Habs. ask TB for fun. the next few games will tell us. - fidopro
Not all of those forwards are what I'd consider much more than average 3rd liners ie Pageau, Beauviller, or Palmieri but I'll concede the Isles are probably more balanced than the Habs are up front. I know some Isles fans got down on Bailey too in the past. I don't think the size difference is much, outside of Caufield and Gallagher, the rest of the Habs are decently big up front. I think the Habs D is better at defending and defintiely tougher to play against, and Price is defintiely tougher to play against, but as you said we'll see. Hopefully the habs can have a better result than them.
