i saw it in the theater when i was 15 and though it was the stupidest thing i'd ever seen. then i watched it again at like 20 and it was one of the funniest movies id ever seen.

The dialogue. The different directions and ways you can watch it. The dark humour. The absurd humour. The back and forth between Steve Buchemi and John Goodman.

It's a good movie. I'm not calling it an all time great film but I also don't understand the disdain some people have for it.

If people don't like that humour style, it's a slog I would imagine.

Film is subjective. Bad Taste being the exception as the greatest film ever made.
