It's obvious I am serious. Weber grabbed his stick with both hands (*snicker*), and wound up like a MLB homerun hitter to take a hard swing at Kuch's knee. On the video you can see the severity of the impact as Kuch immediately crumples to the ice in agonizing pain. His leg dangles like a limp spaghetti noodle as he struggles to finish his shift. He's a warrior and it's amazing that he's only expected to miss one game as he rehabs and learns to skate again. Weber should be indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. - GalacticStone

He is. LOL.
I have never liked him. He's got that smug attorney way about him. He's always so monotone and subdued in manner, but you can tell he's got all kinds of passive-aggressive butthurt going on underneath.
I cut him a minor amount of slack when the Lightning won the Cup. But, you could grab a random hobo from the bus station and he could win a championship with that roster.

Well you gotta give him at least a little credit.
He's the first coach that managed to get Danault away from it's top line.
He's the first coach we faced that actually coached.

He's improved over the years. Back during the 2015 run, he got thoroughly outcoached and kept matching up Paquette against Toews and Kane, despite a clear lack of results as the finals went on. He also got out-coached by Torts in that disastrous sweep against Columbus.
To his credit, he has been OK in these playoffs (*knock on wood*)
He's still a whiny little douchebag though. LOL.

I bet Columbus with Pascal Vincent, or Arizona with Tourigny. He was Vincent's assistant with Montreal Junior, do you know who was his other assistant?

Killorn is out tonight.
That means either Schenn or Joseph comes in. Johnson will likely get bumped up replace Killorn on the second line. Schenn is a pylon and Joseph has stone hands. Either one is a downgrade from Killorn.

Lightning's active roster depth is good. The cupboards are pretty bare though. They have traded away a lot of prospects and picks to get here. It's going to get worse in the offseason when the cap finally murders this roster. This steamroller can't continue indefinitely and will likely end after this season.

You'll have to make difficult choices for sure (choices that would have been made a year ago).
But I think Tampa has one more year of being heavy favorites ahead of them.
Then Point's super bridge deal ends. |
