oh yes, it's just that you approach every single topic 100% of time as what you would do and I try to think about what the Rangers will actually do
it's a fundamental difference that will never click with us - jimbro83
So u think the Rangers would pursue another winger turning 30 years old with a recent injury history? |

I was looking up cap friendly last night about Fox’s contract and saw a whole bunch of lineups and trades you made on cap friendly that were saved to their website haha |

well you didn't have a "source" that said the Rangers were gonna bring DeAngelo back now that JD and Gorton were fired
|

Ur way of thinking what the Rangers will do is just never giving an opinion one way or the other besides broad generalizations. “I think the Rangers will trade someone this off-season” …..great take Jim, let’s hear another |

$7.5 mill cap hit and I don't think he makes us harder to play against. If we are going to spend that kind of $$$, we have to get a center, not another winger!
His center would be much more interesting.... - TommyGTrain
I don't always give the "hometown discount" any credence in most cases, but seeing what Fox did to position himself to play for the NYR....I don't see him blasting NYR with some over the top salary |

Since the off-season started, Ive saved 12 of them. Which is a relative small number compared to what some post.
Usually if some new gossip comes out, if it seems plausible, Ill punch it into AGM and see how it works out financially, as well as years down the road. |

Honestly if he wants 9 million per and we are all stuck at 7 million, I am fine just giving in to the difference. No reason to strain the relationship. I am not going to lose sleep over 2 million per if it means we have one of the best defensemen happy and locked in long term. We have waisted cap space on much worse lol |

it's all part of the unknown of how this organization will now operate
this is something they have never done, they wait til the last minute on signing everyone when it's their own guy, but the Lindgren contract gives hope that maybe things are changing a little

yea I didn't appreciate how they made me stress out up till the last second of the trade deadline for the Kreider contract
I hope Drury pays the right ones earlier |

they've been doing this forever, for them to sign Adam Fox to an extension when he still has one year left on his entry level contract would be absolutely unprecedented for this organization |

Lets be realistic here. Fox is easily getting well over 8m on any contract he signs. Seeing a 6 or even a 7 is NOT happening. Dude just won a Norris, at 23, in his second season. |

One could only hope that because hes a life-long Rangers fan (and doing so basically told every NHL GM its the only team he will play for), understanding of NHL economics and what it takes to win a Cup... he does right by the franchise to enable them to surround the team with winning pieces. |

4 years left of RFA could help keep those numbers down. |

I have always believed that Kreider was thisclose to being traded to Colorado at that trading deadline. |
