Am I alone in thinking this has been one of the more boring SC's in a long time?
I think the Tampa/NYI has been the most exciting series this year. - Rinosaur

That was definitely a good one. I though the NYI/Tampa had more venom, but they were both good. Regardless, this is the most boring Cup Final in as long as I can remember. |

Higher stakes for sure. But yeah this one could end up being the most lopsided cup since Detroit’s back to back sweeps in 97-98 |

Someone laughed at me for pointing out Montreal had a negative goal differential at 5v5 before this round started. |

I didn't think MTL would take even one game from TOR. I mean, I expected TOR to choke, but not that early on.

Feds I think Montreal has only one option left! Gotta get Tatar in the line-up, right? |

Social media female doged about the refs to the point they started calling the tacky poop now the players are scared to actually play. Great job. |

I probably wouldnt make this move, but I'm wondering what would it take to get people to consider it.
Florida has a huge problem at goalie, but the good kind. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Bob is signed for $10M cap until 2026. It comes with a NMC.
My question is... what would it take for someone to consider trading for Bob at 50% retained. The contract is likely unmovable unless Florida retains 50% given the amount and term. Bob at $5M isnt that bad IMO. He didnt look bad in the playoffs, but my eyes could have been lying to me. It would be a $1.5M increase in salary compared to what Jarry makes now.
What other sweetener would Florida need to throw in to make it work? Draft capital? Hornqivst (joking about that)?
I dont care about the length of Bob's contract. No way he is still an effective player by the end of it, but at that point it wont matter. Crosby/Malkin/Letang will likely be gone and the Penguins will be in rebuild. The contract would be easier to move since he doesnt make as much money in the later years of the deal. |

Really good goaltending, opportunistic offense, and good special teams. |

They'd just go the buyout route if it was retain 50% PLUS add anything significant

Wasn't Colorado looking at Jarry before we traded Murray? Do you think they may be interested again? Maybe we could get some picks for him and flip them to Vegas for Lehner? |

I'd imagine interest in Jarry would be pretty low right now. Maybe a team trying to buy low, but there comes a point where you'd be better off keeping him than losing him for nothing. |

So the question is, do we think Jarry is a good enough goalie to keep and realize he just had a bad playoff? |

I think you'll get very mixed answers on this. My personal opinion is that while he's not a young goalie, he's early in the NHL development process, so for all we know he could learn from this season and improve, or he is what he is. I just don't know that the Pens have time wait and find out if he might improve. |
