Hi all!

IF Dougie Hamilton is sooooooooooooooooooo valuable, why does NO ONE want to keep him? Why hasn't anyone locked him up long term? What is going on behind the scenes that makes him "expendable"?

Thanks,
Power29

Maybe his personality sucks. He's a good player on the ice which is all I would care about. Know who else went to a bunch of teams and had a bad personality? Chris Pronger. IDGAF about personality and neither do teams that want to win.

Could see a package of Comtois, Steel, The #1 pick and either Stolarz or Dostal working. If Anaheim wants Eichel.

The obvious and I've posted this in Sabres thread... Gibson for JE -

Sabres need a goalie and Gibby is nails.. not his fault he's been playing behind a ECHL level D the last 2 yrs. He is Elite.

That's the heart of the trade there can be some odds and ends involved for sure.

It’s chuck fletcher , you seriously expect major moves? Hey flyers how about bringing in a real GM.

Really, he was great for the Wild. He hung onto core players too long and handed out NMC’s like candy. We’re still trying to recover from his mess.

If I am Anaheim, BUF isn’t getting this year's 1st, Zegras, Drysdale, or Comtois. They’re dealing damaged goods and their only leverage is forcing him to return which will go over swimmingly. Sure, other teams are bidding, but the organizations with ample assets, cap room, and Leadership in place to handle and corral what, from the outside, looks to be a bit of a primadonna and less of a leader, well, that’s a narrow grouping. I’d say something like..
To ANA: C Eichel
RW Okposo (salary dump)

To BUF: C Sam Steel
RW J. Silfbverg
C/LW Lundestrom
2022 1st Rd. Pick

BUF gets a full forward set, a 1st Rounder that’ll likely still fall outside the playoffs as the Ducks are likely one more season of revising away from getting in as a 6-8th Seed, and they get a pass on $6M AAV to re-sign Reinhart or to embark on another failed Pegula Spending Spree (my guess, they hand out 5.5-6.5 to Chris Dreidger(sp?) of Florida lol!).

Don't even mention the Flyers? That is how irrelevant this organization has become in th last decade.

I had to re-read a bunch of that article to make sure it wasn't me.

The Bruins should not be keeping Tuka. He should retire. They need defense help but not from the big names out there. There are some diamonds in the rough out there.
