Heard its Zegras without the pick or Comtois and the pick - Stripes77
I wouldn't do either of the above as it's not enough if it's only those pieces. |

Why doesn't Beniers make sense regardless? - kingcong39
If they land a Zegras/byfield they wont need Beni or another centre. Build in other places

Why not take Beniers as well and have a top notch Center core for the future? |

I can see both sides.
Power and Eklund/Beniers gives you a couple of nice, high end picks at both ends of the ice.
However, the Sabres strength in their pipeline right now, imo, is their D, so loading up on two forwards high in the draft could be smart, too. |

So
Comtois, 3rd overall, Dostal and Perrault/Mclaughlin |

My guess is you get 3 out of those 4 and Henrique |

The Montreal Canadiens landed in Tampa about 25 minutes ago, so the league charter, #GoBolts and Habs have all arrived in town ahead of tomorrow's Game 5. Bill Daly told

league is monitoring the storm and will adjust if required and has some flexibility if they need to |

Then i get rid of Dostal. There are several Goalie prospects in rds 2 and 3 this year that can be taken. |

Oh I would take Eklund, but Bernier wouldn't be bad either. Good Centers are currency. |

I'd take him #1. Really want 2 high end C's between trades and picks.
If they can't get a second premium piece out of Ana, that would be disappointing. I'd take my chances with 3 over Zegras, might be in the minority there. |

I agree with your thought process as to who to draft and the bold as well, as long as the other pieces along with the 3rd overall are quality. |

Little nervous they'd go Power + Eklund and come away with no true C.
