Zegras, 3OA and one of Comtois/Drysdale sounds about right to me.

Didn't mean Zegras, does it have to be him. Can those other names be inserted instead of Zegras.

I think the Sabres need to get a center prospect back if they're trading Eichel.

Zegras is better than any prospect available in this years draft.

Take Wild Bill first and we could be cooking with something.

Tell you right know Adams likes what Cozens and Mitts brings to the table.

That’s 2. Need at least 3. Samson and/or Jack MUST bring back a top prospect center.

idea, assuming sabres have eklund/power close and wouldnt care which they got

to seattle: 1oa, ristolainen
to buffalo: 2oa, 2nd round pick, promise of selecting okposo

- robz228

If you are making them take someone why would it not be skinner?

I’d like one that is seasoned a little more. Call it a little ahead of the curve. Personal preference I guess

Crap. Forgot about no trade clause.

But considering what we got there is no point in making someone take okposo. Unless you expose someone you don’t want to lose

I still think it’s LA or the NYR.

Unfortunately I don’t see Byfield or Laf coming back either

Don't understand why Risto would be involved at all, and why worry about Okposo. Rather just switch the pick and tell Seattle to take someone in the Expansion draft like Dog said and give him that player. If anything tell them Miller is your selection.

I don't want them to come out of this weak down the middle, needing a lottery win to find a 1C.
- Lunaion

That’s not really the case if they acquire a Turcotte/Zegras In these trades

The tough part is that's not really enough to trade down from 1. You'd really have to make that kind of deal in 2 parts, one before the expansion draft and another after.

Yeah we would need more than that to even consider. I was just commenting on the making them take okposo. At this point it’s pointless not much left on the contract and we kind of need the cap space for the floor.

Does he, though? He may look at Vegas and how that worked out and want to be a part of an expansion team. Plus he may see the writing on the wall here (Jack, Sam, Risto, etc all gone), and figure it's going to be a rough few years.

Well think you are gonna take a cap dump in any scenario. Henrique, Brown, Quick. Brown would be the best one cause he only has a year left. But Henrique might be good for a couple years to help with the youngins.

Maybe but aren't we getting 2 and there 2nd too, or since Risto isn't included the 2nd isn't included.

I’ll laugh my ass off if the Sabres say “no thanks” to Owen Power and he ends up better than Dahlin.

It will be so Sabres-esque to draft an average forward and pass up a 6’6 offensively gifted D man

I agree. But I’m not gonna take a deal without Zegras because Henrique is coming back.

I’m saying with jack and Sam heading out a young center needs to be coming back!
